Things To Know
Where
I love using the outdoors for a backdrop to
our session. It helps you relax, have fun
and offers a more natural experience.
It can be at your favorite park or hiking trail.
There are no limits. Together we can find
just the right place. Outdoor sessions are best
scheduled for early morning or
late afternoon/evening to take advantage
of the light. If you have young
children, I prefer to have our session in
the morning since that is when
children are usually the happiest.
How
Sessions with me are fun. I am very relaxed
and I let things unfold on their own. I want to
capture your relationship. The way you look
at each other, the way you laugh together.
Those moments are a feeling and I
want you to see them in the images we create.
After our session, you will get your own
password protected online gallery
with edited
images that you can share with
family and friends. It will take about two
weeks before they are ready to view
and they will stay up for about a week.
What to Wear
I say wear whatever it is that best
represents you. If your little girl is a
tomboy and loves to climb tree's and
splash in the puddles, please don't
put her in a dress. This should be about
who you are. What not to wear:
please do not wear anything with
logos or advertisements on your clothing.
They are too distracting and can
take away from our ultimate goal: beautiful
pictures of you. I have some
examples of outfits that I will send you.
Newborns
A newborn session can take up to three hours.
They may require a feeding, rocking and
some care to get your sweet baby to sleep.
A sleeping baby makes for better newborn
photos. Don't worry about what your
baby is wearing because the best
newborn picturesare done in the nude.
I also have various fabrics, hats and props
to make your little one look nice and cozy.
Rescheduling
If we have a session scheduled and you know
that your child is having a bad day
or is not feeling well, please
call me to reschedule.
I know that you are excited to get your
photos done but if your child isn't
behaving like him/herself, it's going
to show in the final product.
I look forward to having a great time
with you and your family.
